Tailoring "Worlds Baddest" T-shirts, what highlight are you looking for?
Slogan-wear has been our mainstay so far, but we will be fast venturing into other youth-oriented areas. Whatever we do, it will always revolve around youthful expression.
A lot of people think that “BADDEST” reflects the slogans and graphics of the TEE-shirt, while it actually is about a lot more. The comfort and the fit of the TEE-shirt, and the quality of the 100% combed cotton (mostly)… all of it complements the graphic. This results in the “BADDEST” piece of clothing you can lay your hands on
Tell us the concept of having an attitude slogan on the T-shirt. What in your opinion do you think it reflects to on an individual?
Well, the piece of clothing we call a TEE-shirt, came from the American Navy men, in the early 1900s. It started off as an undergarment for naval uniforms, but quickly became a casual top to wear on a pair of jeans. Sometime after World War II, and especially in the very expressive 60s & 70s, people started using the TEE-shirt as a tool for expressing their strongly held opinions. What they could not continue babbling all the time, they started putting up on their TEE-shirts. Then the Grateful Dead came along with their tie-dye stuff. The TEE-shirt held its own in the 80s and the 90s, and recently, the world over, there has been a surge in sloganwear. |
